Day 01 Nairobi - Aberdares
Distance: 180Km (2hr 30min).
Morning drive through fertile Kikuyuland to the Aberdare Country Club for a farm house lunch.
In the afternoon, transfer to the Ark for evening and night game watching.
Dinner & overnight at The Ark.
Day 02: Aberdares - Shaba/Samburu:
Distance: 210Km (3hr 30min).
Soon after breakfast at the Ark, rejoin your safari driver at the Aberdare Country Club and continue further north to the semi desert area of Shaba National Reserve.
Afternoon game viewing in this reserve.
Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 03: Shaba/Samburu
Early rise for a game viewing drive in the Reserve.
Breakfast at the Lodge. Further game viewing drive in the park. Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon at leisure for perhaps a further game viewing drive in this reserve.
Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.
Day 04: Samburu/Shaba - Mt Kenya:
Distance: 160km (02hrs 30min)
After breakfast drive to Nanyuki. Lunch at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Afternoon free.
Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Day 05: Mt Kenya - Maasai Mara
Distance: 145 miles (1hr flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Nanyuki airstrip in time for your spectacular flight over the rift valley to the magnificent Masai Mara reserve.
Afternoon game viewing drive in this well known game reserve situated in the north of the Serengeti plains and famous for its abundance of wildlife.
Lunch, Dinner & overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.
Day 06: Maasai Mara:
Morning and late afternoon game viewing drives in this reserve, with spectacular sceneries and diverse wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.
Day 07: Maasai Mara -Nairobi & Depart.
After breakfast at the Lodge, embark on your return journey to Nairobi.
On arrival you will be dropped off at the Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel/Nairobi Safari Club (use of room is excluded). Later transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your International departure flight, 03 HOURS PRIOR TO FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIME.
