Day 01 Nairobi - Aberdares

Distance: 180Km (2hr 30min).

Morning drive through fertile Kikuyuland to the Aberdare Country Club for a farm house lunch.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Ark for evening and night game watching.

Dinner & overnight at The Ark.

Day 02: Aberdares - Shaba/Samburu:

Distance: 210Km (3hr 30min).

Soon after breakfast at the Ark, rejoin your safari driver at the Aberdare Country Club and continue further north to the semi desert area of Shaba National Reserve.

Afternoon game viewing in this reserve.

Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.

Day 03: Shaba/Samburu

Early rise for a game viewing drive in the Reserve.

Breakfast at the Lodge. Further game viewing drive in the park. Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon at leisure for perhaps a further game viewing drive in this reserve.

Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge.

Day 04: Shaba/Samburu - Nairobi

Distance: 360Km (5hr 30min).

After breakfast, drive south to Mt.kenya Safari Club for lunch. In the afternoon continue to Nairobi.

Remarks:

• Only a small overnight bag is permitted at the Ark. Storage facilities are available at the base hotel
• Children below 7 are not admitted
